Wicked

Elphaba

Je suis allée voir Wicked, une comédie musicale absolument géniale sur les Sorcières d'Oz à Costa Mesa (40 mn de Los Angeles) au Segerstrom Center for the Arts.  Le lieu m'a rappelé l'Opéra Bastille par son architecture moderne. C'est un spectacle à la fois drôle et émouvant, si vous connaissez le Magicien d'Oz, vous en apprécierez les références au monde passionnant de Frank Baum !

I went to see Wicked, an absolutely brilliant musical about the Witches of Oz in Costa Mesa (40 mn from Los Angeles) at Segerstrom Center for the Arts. The venue reminded me of the Opera Bastille with its modern architecture. It's a show both funny and moving, if you know the Wizard of Oz, you will appreciate the references to the exciting world of Frank Baum!

The GrandMaster (BUF compagnie)

The Grandmaster (Yi dai zong shi ) de Wong Kar Wai, sort en France le 17 avril, il n'y a pas encore de date prévue aux US. J'ai eu la chance de travailler sur la bande-annonce chez BUF Compagnie à Paris (FX de neige, locomotive 3D dans certaines scènes, effacement de cernes sous les yeux etc). C'est l'histoire de Ip Man, connu pour avoir été le maître de Bruce Lee, la classe !

The Grandmaster (Yi dai zong shi) directed by Wong Kar Wai, will be released in France on April 17, there has not yet scheduled release in the U.S. I had the chance to work on the trailer at BUF Compagnie in Paris (snow FX, 3D locomotive in some shots, erasing dark circles under the eyes...). This is the story of Ip Man, known for being the master of Bruce Lee, awesome!

Carnet secret Danse

Et voilà ! Mon dernier livre est sorti depuis le 7 Mars, on peut le trouver en France, au Québec, en Suisse et même en Angleterre (mais le texte est en français). L'auteur est Françoise Caille. Voici donc des exemples d'illustrations que l'on peut trouver à l'intérieur du carnet. Les petites filles (désolée pour les garçons qui aiment la danse !) peuvent y noter leur ballet et danseurs préférés, écrire sur leur passion pour la danse (tango, hip hop, flamenco etc). Merci aux Editions Gründ, ça a été un grand plaisir de travailler sur ce joli projet.

And voila! My last book is released since 7th March, it can be found in France, Quebec, Switzerland and even in England (but the text is in French). The author is Françoise Caille. Here are some examples of illustrations that can be found inside the book. Girls (sorry boys who love to dance!) can note their favorite dancers and ballet, write about their passion for dance (tango, hip hop, flamenco etc). Editions Gründ

Bonjour !

J’ai eu ces derniers temps pleins de projets en cours. Je travaille actuellement sur un jeu vidéo chez Ubisoft et j’ai terminé l’illustration d’un carnet secret Spécial Danse aux Editions Gründ. Je vous présente la 1ère de couverture de ce livre qui sortira en Mars 2013, je suis trop contente ! Je remercie les Editions Gründ de m’avoir donné l’opportunité d’illustrer un thème qui m’est cher. A bientôt pour la suite.

Hello !

I recently had a lot of projects in progress. I’m currently working on a video game for Ubisoft and I finished illustrations for secret diary with ballet theme at Gründ Editions. I present  you the cover of this book, which will be released in March 2013, I'm so happy ! Many thanks to  Gründ Editions  for giving me the opportunity to illustrate a theme that is precious to me. Stay tuned !
